Galerie Anhava was founded 1991. In 1997 it merged with Galerie Artek, a pioneer within contemporary art in Finland since 1935.
In October 1999 both galleries moved to new premises in the Sanoma building next to Kiasma, the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Galerie Anhava’s program concentrates on international, mainly Scandinavian and Finnish contemporary art.
EXHIBITION PREMISES
Galerie Anhava consists of an
exhibition space ( 100 m2, height 3 m),
a studio (25 m2, height 6 m)
and
a project room (17 m2, height 3 m).
