The framework for the everyday life of a child is formed by the schedules of the day-care. The family has to be ready to move after work from one place to another. The scenery - equal in its kind - changes. The schedule holds.

The everyday reality and myth of the timeless stream of the days of childhood, given rhythm by natural phenomena and observations of the work schedule of the parents on one hand and meditation on the other have drift apart.

In Finland representatives of the baby boom generation can in their memories, at least, return to their home steads, to a landscape where the most important experiences have come to existence. The can tell they have their origin in a certain place. They carry a memory of a childhood’s landscape.

At the same time, in everyday life, the encountering species of the first nature, independent of human beings, has in most cases been marginated. The species are met in form of consumer goods and entertaining figures of the media.

Those species of fauna and flora, which give intermediate benefits to man, prosper in transferred forms in large populations. Domestic animals spend their life in reserves of one specie, never encountering anything of the living conditions their ancestors lived in. Numerous animal generations have changed without ever leaving their production facilities.

The return to the original way of life will take place through degeneration. Individuals, dropping out in social competition from the division of labour, can start to outline their surroundings through a gathering culture. Litterbins and end stations of consumer goods flows in one’s own territory are checked in the search for the daily meal. The flow of goods glides by as an imposing element, independent of a few individual performances. It is capable to maintain a tiny unproductive, uncultured human population at its side.
