Pamela Brandt paints beautifully.
Her works show that they have been painted with time and concentration.
During the course of the work the artist appears to have sought a final, precise physical form for something of which she is internally aware and wants to show to others too.
Pamela Brandt's paintings are a kind of links between material everyday life and spiritual life; they are places where the sensual and the spiritual meet and exceptionally accommodate each other.
The viewer cannot approach Brandt's paintings with only a quick look. Her works are multi-layered in both the literary and visual sense, and they will open up only gradually and to a willing gaze.
They are of long duration.
